Antique Asian Ikat Linen Kimono Robe
Antique Asian linen Ikat robe. Measures 55 inches from collar to hem, 20 inches across the shoulders and 24 inch sleeves. Entirely constructed by hand. Lovely purple, yellow and ivory ikat motifs with a hand embroidered needlepoint embellishment on the back of the collar, and some sort of ink stamp on shoulder. In fair condition - has several small spots and splits. This item was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
