Achihasaf  almanac - 1893-1884. The Rare Issue of 1893 - The First Year in which the almanac was Printed - Warsaw 1893. Illustrated title pages in color.

A bound first year calendar with a second year issue [was published once a year]. The editors have set a goal: to fill the gap by publishing a useful calendar that will contain commercial and worldly information, as well as literary matters: articles, stories, pictures, paintings and poems. The expansion of the boundaries of Hebrew literature, the knowledge of the world and of life, and the history and literature of Israel, in melody and poetry, etc. "(from the publisher's commentary in the introduction).

The almanac is accompanied by early and important photographs from the early days of the Hebrew Yishuv. Among them - a group of students from the Jaffa Boys School, a group of students from the girls' school in Jaffa, a photograph of Rabbi Shmuel Mohilever, the Moshava Gedera and Rehovot in 1891, the list of Hebrew books published during the year, Jewish workshops in and around Warsaw (some of which were published in this issue only, and are unknown from another source), and more.

The initiators and editors were Hebrew writers and poets, whose center was in Odessa and Warsaw, which were connected to the publication of Achihasaf, headed by Ben Avigdor (Avraham Leib Skelowitz), including Moshe Leib Lilienblum, David Frishman, Ahad Ha'am and others. The ideological line, at least in the first three tables, was Zionist - each chapter was devoted to a review of the "status of the Jewish community in Eretz Israel" during the past year. From 1897 onward, a special section was added,  which surveys the "Year of the Congress," that is, the events in the Zionist arena that took place between Congress and Congress. In later years, the almanac was characterized by a conceptual tone of pluralism regarding the solution of the Jewish question.

Was published continuously by Achihasaf in 1893 to 1904 in Warsaw (and again in 1923).
