Judischer jugend KALENDER Calendar for 1929-1930 by Emil Bernhard Cohn, published by Judischer Verlag Berlin. German and a little Hebrew. Unknown.


A children's calendar with photographs, illustrations by Ephraim Moshe Lilien [?], Tables and musical notes. Among other articles and photographs about the Jewish settlement in Eretz Israel, musical notes for "Hatikvah", reading and play clips for the Jewish holidays and the Sabbath day, illustrations on the plague of Egypt, humor and cartoons and more. Each month features illustrations of one of the Twelve Tribes 

Jüdischer Verlag Publishing  ("The Jewish Publishing House"), founded in Berlin in 1902. Its founders were Martin Buber, Chaim Weizmann, Efraim Moshe Lilien, Berthold Feivel and Davis Treitch. Between 1902 and 1907 it was headed by Feivel. The publishing house was founded a few months after Martin Buber announced its establishment at the Fifth Zionist Congress as part of the struggle to promote the place of art in the process of Jewish national revival. and to this end Buber sought the economic support of the Zionist Organization. The publishing house published works written in German (prose and reference books) and translations of German literature in Yiddish and Hebrew. After a while, the publishing house began publishing Hebrew books. Before us one of the unknown publications in the last years of the publishing house in Germany.
