With 60 etching plates, including etchings that depict Jewish customs: a Jewish wedding, the Sabbath, shofar blowing and more. Additional etching facing title page.
[3] leaves, IV, [1], 6-704 (last page numbered 1704), XII pp ([4] pp missing at the end of the book?) + [61] plates. 35 cm. Good condition. Stains. Some tears and creases (tear to title page, with damage to text). The etching plate facing the title page has been restored. Dedication on title page from 1860. Bound in a new binding, somewhat loose.
