Classic halachic sefer, based on the conclusions of the Talmud, by R. Alexander HaKohen Suesslin of Frankfurt (d. 1348), a Talmid of R. Yitzchok Duran (Sharei Dura), and Rov in Cologne, Worms and Frankfurt. Quoted extensively by R. Yaakov Weil (MaHaRIL) and the Rema, this sefer is one of most fundamental Halachic seforim, particularly according to the Ashkenazic custom. Published from a manuscript with corrections by R. Yosef HaKohen, brother-in-law of the Rema and author of responsa Sheayris Yosef.
