Ceramic Seder Plate. She'erit HaPleitah. 1940s
Ceramic Seder plate imprinted "מעבדות לחרות בשנה הזאת בירושלים." Made by the Joint, for distribution in DP camps in Germany.
"JOINT משרד דתי" is written on the top part. Manufacturer's stamp on the back: "Made by the Employment Board of She'erit HaPleitah, Germany." Green glaze.
Diameter: 25 cm. Fine-very fine condition. Tiny paint peelings around the rim of the plate.
