The Wandering Jew [LE JUIF ERRANT]- Postcards. Early 20th century

7 postcards on 'Wandering Jew' - LE JUIF ERRANT. Publishers, places, and various print dates, early 20th century.

Postcards: Two rare postcards, one depicting the wandering Jew Walking between carnivorous animals without any fear [the 19th-century wandering Jewish stereotype was clinging to the "eternal Jew" with The damage of time cannot hurt him and he is all immune], and the other introducing him in the storm at sea continues on its way in peace. A postcard showing the French officer Ferdinand Esterhazi in the form of the "wandering Jew" (Esterhazi handed over military secrets to the Germans and Dreyfus accused for it). a postcard with a musical note for the poem 'The Wandering Jew', an anti-Semitic postcard showing the face of a Jew sizzling in the city, with the caption 'De wandelende jood', and others.

Three are Undivided back, two of which were mailed. Very good condition.
