17 leaves. Stained in places. Contemporary marbled wrappers, front cover stained and slightly torn. 12mo.

As there was a dearth of properly trained Shochetim in America, precise training manuals containing the laws of Shechitah were compiled. The penultimate leaf of the present manuscript contains an account stating "four months at four thousand and forty three…dollars," indicating this manuscript was composed in the United States.
