Antique Wooden Box for Shavuot Holiday Integrated w/ Silver Contains Book of Esther & Reading Finger - 1896
Unique item - Dutch wooden box integrated with sawed silver, for the Shavuot Holiday, contains a miniature Book of Esther and a reading finger. The scroll case is made of silver and set with red glass on its lower part, while the scroll itself is handwritten on a parchments. The accompanying finger is made of wood integrated with silver and set with two gemstones. The box bears a dedication which includes the date and occasion (1896).
In addition, the box is decorated with a red velvet interior and has stylized handles and lock.
