Attributed to Castellani - High 21-22K Gold & Micro-Mosaic Brooch, Archaeological-Revival, 1868
Exceptional - fine beautiful brooch made of 21-22K Yellow Gold (acid tested by the auction house) and attributed to Castellani. In addition, it is designed in the style of Archaeological-Revival in the spirit of the period, and decorated with a lovely embossment and fine micro-mosaic crafting.
Well-preserved for its age and bears an engraving and date on its reverse: 25.12.1868.
