המפה ולוח הזמנים הונפקה על ידי חברת האוטובוסים הישראלית - המקשר - "המקשר" הייתה אגודה שיתופית – קואופרטיב – שהפעיל תחבורה ציבורית בירושלים, באמצעות אוטובוסים. הקואופרטיב פעל משנת 1931 עד 1967, אז התמזג "המקשר" עם קואופרטיב אגד.
בעלון מופיעים קווי האוטובוסים, תחנות העצירה, קווי שביתת הנשק של 1948 בין ישראל לירדן.
זהו תיעוד הסטורי של השינויים שחלו בעיר במשך 60 השנים האחרונות.
