הגיתו החדש (Das neue Ghetto) - מחזה בן ארבע מערכות מאת תיאודור הרצל - מתורגם מגרמנית בידי ראובן בריינין. הוצאת "אחיאסף" - מהדורה ראשונה בעברית. וארשא תרנ"ח 1898.
את המחזה כתב הרצל בהשפעת משפט דרייפוס, שאותו סיקר כעיתונאי, והוא נכתב במהירות במשך 17 יום בלבד! במרכז עלילתו פרקליט יהודי מתבולל המנסה לצאת מן הגטו החברתי שנכפה על יהודי המערב, אך נכשל. בסוף המחזה נרצח הפרקליט בידי אציל אנטישמי שפגע בכבודו. כשהוא גוסס, אומר הפרקליט בקול חלש: "יהודים, אחיי, יבוא יום ויניחו לכם לחיות - כאשר תדעו כיצד למות". בקול רועם ובכוחותיו האחרונים הוא אומר: "לצאת! לצאת מן הגטו!". מותו של סמואל נועד לשמש אזהרה כי שהותם של היהודים באירופה מסוכנת. במחזה ביטא הרצל לראשונה את השקפתו הלאומית. המחזה הועלה במשך השנים ביותר מ-20 מקומות ברחבי אירופה.
