במחנה גדנע היה כתב עת לנוער של פיקוד הגדנ"ע. יצא לאור מלפני קום המדינה ובהמשך בהוצאת משרד הביטחון ועד תחילת שנות ה-90, עת הוחלט על צמצום מספר הביטאונים הצבאיים. בגלגוליו הראשונים נקרא: "עלומים", "ניב עלומים" ו"במחנה עלומים". בני נוער הוזמנו להשתתף בכתיבה והקבועים שבין הכותבים הצעירים זכו למעמד של כתבים צעירים (כ"צים). אסתר ברזל ניהלה את הכתבים צעירים, וסייעו בידה גם יורם טרה לב ואביטל מוסנזון.
