בכורו של ארם בן שם בן נח. אחיהם של חול, גתר ומש (ספר בראשית, פרק י', פסוק כ"ג). בדברי הימים א', הוא מוזכר כבנו של שם בן נח, ואחיו של ארם.
בנו הבכור של נחור אחי אברהם.
בנו של דישן בן שעיר.
