תרשיש הייתה הוצאת ספרים עברית שנוסדה בירושלים בשנת 1939 על ידי הטיפוגרף ומעצב הגופנים ד"ר משה שפיצר, שקודם לכן היה מנהלה של הוצאת שוקן בגרמניה ושימש גם כעוזרו של מרטין בובר. המתרגם והעורך המרכזי בהוצאה היה עמנואל אולסבנגר.
