VINTAGE PERSIAN HAMADAN HAND KNOTTED RUG - 6.6 x 9.9, 198cm x 295cm
Persian Hamadan rug was hand knotted in Iran of 100% natural wool. This rug is 50+ years old, has medium soft, wool piles and is in excellent condition for its age. Beautiful colors with excellent quality. No repairs, and very soft. This rug was acquired from a Virginia Estate. There is a very small area of pile loss. (see picture) Clean and ready to be enjoyed. Recent embargoes by the U.S. against Iranian goods should cause the value of these rugs to increase.
