Byzantine Pewter Whistle
12th-14th century AD
A tubular lead-alloy whistle with flange to one end, the body with circumferential rings, scooped mouthpiece and small hole, vent to the upper face, pellet and lozenge designs to the flange. 13.7 grams, 55mm (2 1/4"). Fine condition. [No Reserve]
