Byzantine Gilt Silver Ring with Birds
14th-15th century AD
A silver-gilt ring with S-scrolled tendrils to the shoulders, radiating billets to the bezel with stepped panel and opposed eagles bearing an arrow. 34.67 grams, 28.13mm overall, 20.49x19.17mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9, Europe 20.00, Japan 19) (1"). Fine condition. A large wearable size.
