Letter to David Shimoni from a Brigade Soldier - From the Front after World War II - 1946
Letter on "Hebrew Newspaper det. B.A.O.R" paper dated February 20, 1946, addressed to David Shimoni. Signed "Daniel" without a last name.
From the letter: "After months of silence, I gather courage and write to you, perhaps because spiritual loneliness has overcome me, and perhaps because after all I still remain thirsty for a word from the Land of Israel: the longing for the land is like a cursed poison that causes secret torment, constant torment that has no remedy in anything."
The author then describes the brigade as "part of a large army that is now in a state of disintegration." He says that he is currently located in Brussels, in the "Hachayal" editorial office, etc.
In an envelope.
Good condition.
