The Fundamental Mussar Sefer- Reishis Chochma- Copy of Rav Itzaleh Blazer
The holy, fundamental mussar sefer, "Reishis Chochma" by Rav Eliyahu Di Vidash. The personal copy of Rav Itzaleh Blazer- one of the great baaley mussar and disseminators of the teachings of Rav Yisrael Salanter- the founder of the mussar movement.
On page before title is written: "This holy sefer belongs to the Rav and goan...moreynu Harav Yitzchak Blazer Shlita".
In his important introduction to sefer Ohr Yisrael by his Rav- Rav Yisrael Salanter, Rav Itzaleh brings the words of Maharam Papirash from sefer Ohr Tzaddikim, that one should learn every day from sefer Reishis Chochma and one "should not move from it".
Zhitomir 5564 [1904] one of the first sefarim to be printed in Zhitomir. On page after title is the approbation of Rav Levi Yitzchak of Barditchev- known as the Kedushas Levi.
