Contract Appointing a "Shaliach Holacha": Tzefas 5654 [1895]
Contract appointing a "Shaliach Holacha"- in which the husband appoints a messenger to bring the get to his wife and give it to her, in any place where she may be.
The contract was completed according to halacha in the Tzefas Beis Din, with the approval of Rav Refael Zilberman, Av Beis Din of Tzefas. There are 2 lines in his handwriting, his signature and his stamp.
Rav Refael Zilberman, Av Beis Din of Tzefas (5599-5678) made aliya to Tzefas in his childhood, together with his father Rav Mordechai, Av Beis Din of Uman. From 5620 he served as Dayan and from 5632 as Rav of Tzefas, for close to fifty years!!
During the years in which the Boyan Admorim were not in Eretz Yisrael, he performed the tradition of lighting a bonfire on Lag Baomer in Meron, and for many years he lit the main bonfire.
