Hundreds of Handwritten Notations and Cavanos by the Holy Kabbalist Rav Mordechai Sharabi on the Rosh Hashana Machzor.

The very machzor with which the holy kabbalist Rav Mordechai Sharabi davened the Rosh Hashana prayers, according to the cavanos of the Rashash - as he wrote on his own personal machzor, in his own holy handwriting.

The cavanos are mostly on the Shemonah Esrey prayer of Maariv, Shacharis and Mussaf, as well as Krias Shema and its blessings and the Shofar Blowing. Includes hundreds of notations and cavanos in his holy handwriting.

On other side of title page is written: 'This prayer is in the possession of the teacher and Rav, Tzaddik who upholds the world, the Gaon and holy kabbalist, our teacher and Rav the Gaon Mordechai Shlita Sharabi, grandson and great grandson of the Rashash Zatzukal.'

The holy kabbalist Rav Mordechai Sharabi (5672-5744) one of the greatest kabbalists of the previous generation. He was known as a miracle worker and many came to his door to receive his advice and blessing. The founder and Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshivas Hamekubalim "Nahar Shalom", he was a Gadol in Kabbala. Rav Ovadia Yosef attested that 'there was none like him in Kabbala'.

Rosh Hashana Machzor according to the minhag of the Sephardim with prayers from the writings of the Ari and the Chida. Livorno 5617 [1857] 114 pages, tear on title page, a few professional restorations, new half-bound leather cover.
