Handwritten Notations by Rav Yaakov Bacharach on Sefer 'Masores Hamasores' by Rav Eliyahu Bachur.

Rav Yaakov Bacharach (5584-5657) grandson and disciple of the Gaon Rav Yehuda Bacharach, Av Beis Din of Sejny. His annotations were printed in Shas-Vilna edition. He is known for his annotations on the Tur-Kenigsberg edition, and mostly for his sefarim, in which he disagrees with Rav Eliyahu Bachur on the subject of 'Kidmos Hate'amim' [(cantillations), in his sefer 'Hayachas Lek'sav Ashuri' Warsaw 5614] as well as on a number of things which he noted in this sefer: 'Masores Hamasores'. He disagreed with Shadal on the subject of vowels and cantillations, and with Chazas regarding 'Ibur Shanim' (adding on a second month of Adar).

On title page is his stamp and on margins of pages are about seven of his handwritten notations and critique.

Sefer 'Masores Hamasores' by Rav Eliyahu Bachur. Zoltzbach Print, 5531 [1771] 35 pages. 17 cm. Very few moth holes on margins.
