Biographical Book "Walther Funk.A Life for the Economy"
Biographical book written by Paul Oestreich "Walther Funk. Ein Leben für die Wirtschaft" (Walther Funk. A Life for the Economy). Edition of 1941. Hard cover. Missing dust jacket. 120 pages. Book comes with a rare letter from Walther Funk's central office with the letterhead of the office in question and signed by himself sending the best wishes to comrades for the 1940 Christmas. It seems a normalised letter.Walther Funk (18 August 1890 – 31 May 1960) was a German economist and Nazi official who served as Reich Minister for Economic Affairs from 1938 to 1945 and was tried and convicted as a major war criminal by the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg. Sentenced to life in prison, he remained incarcerated until he was released on health grounds in 1957. He died three years later.************IMPORTANT!
