Rare set o documents of a German Jew called Reinhard Rosenbaum who managed to escape Germany in the early 30's and lived in USA Rare set o documents of a German Jew called Reinhard Rosenbaum who managed to escape Germany in the early 30's and lived in USA. Set comprises different documents such as: Letters to a senator in Houston, TexasMoney check dated 1946 with carbon copyInteresting letter about the petition to a senator from the USA regarding a visa for his brother who was still living in Berlin and wanted to save him from Holocaust. This was all done through a Jewish association in Texas by a Rabbi Cohen. This letter comes with original envelope. A paper for asking for duplicate of driving license in Texas Taxes related paper Letter from Reinhard Rosenbaum thanking the Rabbi Cohen for his kindness regarding the efforts he was doing to save his brother from Nazism in Germany. Dated 1937. A salary certificate issued in 1933 in Germany to this man where it says how much Reinhard receives as incomes. 8 different money order receipts dated 1933 and 1934 in Berlin A very interesting set of a Jew who saved his life emmigrating to the United States before all went wrong for the Jews in Germany. This man saved his life, but did he manage to save his brother from Nazism? We will never know.Shipping from our office in Europe.
