Outstaning Hand Customized CigaretteBox Polish Prisoner
Outstanding hand customized cigarette box made from aluminum that belonged to a Polish prisoner who was in KL Buchenwald among other prisons. On the lid we can see the following places engraved: Warsaw September 25, 41, Dordmund October 2, 41, Buchenwald February 2/42, Schonebeck 27/7/43 and also the initials of the man. On the other side we can see a view of Warsaw with Royal Castle and the column "Kolna Zygmunta". In the center of the interior part of the lid there is a beautiful eagle with a crown, the symbol of Poland. A great example of trench-art in this case made by a prisoner.*******************This lot will be shipped from our office in Europe********************************
