KL Auschwitz - photo of a prisoner with dedication "On a souvenir from the Nazi concentration camp Oswiecim (Auschwitz) 1165 from 1939-1945 Tomiczek" we find in KL Auschwitz archives info about him: Tomiczek, Józef (prisoner number: 1165) born: 1892-10- 16, place of birth: Chorzów. 1. 1940-06-25, Auschwitz, arrival at camp 2. transferred to KL Mauthausen (2569), liberated. There is a disagreement here, because the Auschwitz camp received the first prisoners in June 1940. Probably from September - October 1939 he was in prisons and only in June 1940 was transported to KL Auschwitz with the second transport. Shipping from our office in Europe.
