Badges of an exemplary soldier
These badges were introduced to distinguish dynamic, agile and politically motivated soldiers.The first badges appeared in 1921. They underwent gradual changes until the final formula was established on May 21, 1942.
At the end of the war, there were 24 types of these badges.
In order to receive one of them, a soldier had to prove himself politically and militarily during training and then on the front. Badges were awarded to privates and officers and entered into the military record book.
Made with Brass (non-magnetic) and red enamel badge 4.6cm x 3,7cm badge complete with screw post back and cap (magnetic).

Shows verdigris but the coloring of the enamel is nice.
