Our Summer Great Estates Curated Auction features more than 100 lots of art, furniture, sculptures, porcelain, pottery, decorative items and more. Among the highlights is a painting attributed to Gustave Caillebotte, as well as artwork by William Trost Richards, Clara Ledesma, and George Henry Boughton. The sale also features a collection of hand painted fans, as well as portrait miniatures, including mourning pendants, and a French repeating musical pocket watch. Tommi Parzinger (German-American, 1903-1981). Tall chest on chest designed for Charak Modern. Mid 20th century. Lacquered chest with two doors concealing three drawers on top of chest with three drawers. Each chest fitted with later Lucite or acrylic pulls, all on pedestal base. Charak Modern label on inside of top drawer on base chest. Scratches, scuffs, and wear to lacquer and finish on top of chest. Chips to lacquer on edges and sides of top and bottom chests. Staining to lacquer on left and right sides on bottom chest. Scuffs and white marks to lacquer and finish on platform base. Repainting to back of chest.
