After Chiparus Pair of Starfish Dancer Lamps
After Demetre Chiparus (Romania / France, 1886-1947). Pair of art deco figural Starfish Dancer lamps, after Chiparus. Nudes with undersea motifs, metal with a green Frankart style patina, and frosted glass star shades. Each 25 1/4"H including shades, shades each 3 1/4"-diameter at bases. Both with scratches and losses to patina on bases, losses to green patina on feet of one figure, cracks and losses to paint around sockets on both, losses to paint on pipes and supports for shades, both shades with chips and roughness to the rims.
