Edwardian 1905 German Enameled Round Box In .900 Silver Imported Into France
Beautiful German enamel box, created in the city of Pforzheim in the early 20th century, between the 1900-1905. This belle époque box was made up in circular shape with Edwardian and art nouveau patterns by predominant geometric figures of triangles. This unusual box, was carefully crafted in solid .900/.999 standard silver with gilded interiors. Weight: 40.25 Grams, (25.80 Dwt). Measurements: Diameter of 49 mm and a height of 26 mm (1.93 x 1.02 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with Austrian and French marks, stamped three times with the Swan mark (Osprey-124) for importation duties and the mark for the assay of the .900 silver.
Condition: The overall condition of this box is very good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no trace of wear to the silver.
