Quarter Coin Given to a Child by the Lubavitcher Rebbe

25-cent coin (quarter) given directly by the Chaba"d/Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Coins distributed by the Rebbe are considered relatively rare. He distributed them primarily to children, including while he was on his way to the Rebbe the Rayya"tz's ohel, so that they would give them to charity.

The Admo"r Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson [1902-1994] was the seventh in the dynasty of Admo"rs of Lubavitch. He served as Admo"r from 1951 until his passing. He was a tremendous gaon in all realms of Torah and his net was - and still is - cast over the entire world.

Coin issued in 1965. Used condition.
The coin is sold along with a signed authentic approval by a known Chabad rabbi.
