LaChaver, Internal Publication of Irgun Shurat HaMitnadvim, Including Extensive Discussion of the Question of the Secularization of the Olim in the Kibbutzim. Jerusalem, 1957
LaChaver, another letter to the members of Shurat Mitnadvim, an organization established in the early 1950s in order to fight the phenomenon of corruption in the state. It was especially famous for its fight against the prime minister's son, Amos Ben-Gurion, who served as police superintendent. The booklet discusses, inter alia, the question of the secularization of the children of Olim in the Kibbutzim, a phenomenon that members of the organization saw as worrying, and even planned to act on the matter.
Rare, not found in the National Library, and has never been offered at auction.
[13] leaves, 28 cm.
Fine-very fine condition. Aging stains, minimal comments and marks in pen, primarily in the passages that relate to secular education.
Included is a copy of the Va'ad Frumkin report, which abolished uniform education [החינוך האחיד] in 1950.
