Chibat Yerushalayim, [Lvov, 1870]. Special Edition
Chibat Yerushalayim - geography of the holy sites and graves of tzaddikim in the Holy Land, by Rabbi Chaim HaLevi Horowitz. [Lvov, c. 1870.] Fraudulent edition of the first edition.
Before us is an interesting edition of the important and sought-after book printed according to the first edition (which was printed in Jerusalem in 1844). The title page was also copied in its entirety from said edition, including the printer's details, the year, and even the picture of Jerusalem at the center of the title page. For more about the forgery, refer to the book by Sh. HaLevi, Sifrei Yerushalayim HaRishonim no. 23.

Fine condition: Gloss on page 7b. Aging stains. Simple binding, partially detached.
