Pri Etz Hadar, Amsterdam. 1859. Especially Elegant Copy

Pri Etz Hadar - service and study schedule for T"u BiShvat, with many supplements. Amsterdam. Yosef Boanio de Miskita Press. 1859. Elegant copy on quality paper.

The copy before us was printed on especially thick, smooth white paper somewhat like a thick chromo paper, using a special printing technique, and is bound in a magnificent semi-leather binding with gilt decorations. Mif'al HaBibliographiah indicates that they also saw a copy on thick blue paper, the private copy of R' David Montezinus, who edited this book.

Words from the editor, David b"r Rephael Montezinus, are printed on the other side of the title page, expressing appreciation to Ya'akov Teishira de Andrani, who paid for publishing costs. This may be the personal copy given to Ya'akov Teishira de Andrani, who financed the printing.

Only a few books were printed at Yosef Boanio de Miskita Press in Amsterdam; apparently it was a small press.

[2] 70 pp, 17.5 cm. Glossy, high-quality paper.

Fine-very fine condition.
