Lengthy halachic work that deals with a halachic controversy in Germany. The first part of the book includes four lengthy letters. The first is in German in Hebrew letters. With approbations by Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spector of Kovno, Rabbi Simchah Bunim Sofer, Rabbi Yitzchak Shmelkes and others. Lengthy list in German at the end of the book of "friends" who agreed with this prohibition. The book Lichvod Amudei HaTorah by R' Ze'ev Yitzchak HaLevi Dunner, Frankfurt am Main, was printed opposing this book in 1890.
