Printed Receipt from "Chevrah Machzikei Torah Dej" 1927
"Letter of Receipt" - large (!!) and beautiful, printed in color, by the "Machzikei Torah Dej" society. Filled in with the date 27 Shevat 1927. The receipt itself was printed in Dej at N. Edelstein's press.
Sent by the leaders of the Machzike Hadath synagogue in London. Several of the society's gabba'im signed by hand or ink-stamped the letter.
Letter in Yiddish printed on the back from the administrators.
Rare and interesting.
[1] leaf paper, printed on both sides. Approximately 20.5x34 cm.
Fine condition. Many folds, creases and slight tears in the margins. Aging stains.
