Rabbi Hirsch's 25th Anniversary as Rabbi of Frankfurt 1876. Solitary Leaf
Festive leaf with the program for the gala celebrating Rabbi Hirsch's 25th anniversary as Rabbi of Frankfurt. It took place on Sunday, the 28th of Elul - September 17, 1876 at 4:00 p.m. [Frankfurt A.M., 1876].
[1] leaf, 22x15 cm.
Hebrew title at the top of the leaf בע"ה בית תפלת ישורון, followed by the program in both Hebrew and German. Rabbi Samson Refael Hirsch was appointed rabbi of the community in 1851. This is a memento from the festival honoring the anniversary of his appointment.
Fine condition. Original folds. Small worming mark between the lines [blemishing half of one letter]. Within a magnificent wood and glass frame.
