Letter from the Da'at Sofer of Pressburg to Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac HaLevi Herzog about his Leading Disciple
Letter of recommendation and ordination, entirely handwritten and signed by the gaon Rabbi Akiva Sofer, final rabbi of Pressburg before the Holocaust, and later in Jerusalem. 1958. Sent to the chief rabbi, the gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac HaLevi Herzog, with rabbinic ordination and a recommendation for a rabbinic position for his leading disciple, Rabbi Yuda Dov Singer.
