Beautiful Porcelain Challah Tray. Manufactured by Mendel, Manchester, 1960
Large porcelain platter designed to be used for challahs on Shabbats and festivals. Made by A. Mendel, Manchester, C. 1960s.
We have not found any details about this manufacturer.
The tray was given as a wedding present to a Jewish English couple who married in 1969, and it has been preserved in superb condition, just as when it was made.
The tray is stored in the original cardboard box, with a printed sticker: "CHALLOH PLATE, Will Never Scratch."
25.5x33.5 cm. Box size: 29x35 cm.
Excellent condition. The box is in fine condition.
