Sefer Yuchsin, Kraków, 340. First Edition with Hagahot HaRam"a. Impressive Copy
Sefer Yuchsin V'Korot am Yisrael by Rabbi Avraham Zakut, with glosses and additions by Rabbi Moshe Isserlis - the Ram"a. Kraków, 1580-1581.
Second edition of this important work with the history of the Jewish people from Creation to the author's period (c. 1500). It is also the first edition with the Ram"a's supplements and other supplements. The many subsequent printed editions are based on this edition.
Complete copy. In most copies, page 7b is blank, but Mif'al HaBibliographiah HaIvri records: We have seen a copy with a page pasted on bearing the [Hebrew] text: "We found an ancient sefer, Sefer Bereishit, from Creation until Yosef's death, 2680 years. Sefer Shemot, from Yosef's death to the establishment of the tabernacle, another 124 years ..." At the end, it states: "This is all that was added to the book; from here on are words of the book itself." Apparently, the printers added this page, and glued it in some copies. This copy includes the pasted-on text, and it appears that it was printed in this way, without the gluing.
Handwritten comments in an antique script appear on the book's leaves. These comments are primarily at the beginning of the sefer, and they are significant comments, including comments from Sefer HaZohar.

Very fine condition. Minimal aging stains. Antique leather binding with a restored spine. Remnants of metal buckles.
