An album containing 20 original photograph plates of scenes from the Land of Israel. Among the photographs is the Western Wall, the site of the Temple, the Tower of David, Military artillery on the backdrop of a mountainous scene, the holy sites of Christianity and Islam, Israeli scenery and more. Each photograph is described on the facing page in two languages, Italian and French.
Magnificent binding with gilded writing. Gilded page cuts.
The photographs are identically sized: 16x13 cm. Album: 30x23 cm.
Aging stains on some of the leaves, fine condition.
