Picture Cards for the Jewish Year. England [?] Circa 1960's
A unique card album based on the Jewish year, customs and Zionism. With no name of printer or place of printing.
50 cards were placed in the album. Alongside cards depicting Jewish festivals, Judaica items and Biblical scenes are cards with figures such as Herzl, a card with the figure of Dr. Leo Baeck alongside a card of Maimonides, and more. On the rear side of each card is the appropriate verse [in English] and a description in words.
The album is made in the format common among early 20th century albums, in which the card is slotted into four slits on the page of the album at its four corners.
Album size: 16x14 cm. Cards: 7x4 cm. Complete album, a total of 50 cards.
Very fine condition.
