Beautiful Handwritten Letter from the Pnei Menachem of Gur about Rabbi Rust of Haifah
"The yeshivah is on a very high level"
Lengthy and beautiful letter, entirely handwritten, signed and stamped by the Admo"r Rabbi Pinchas Menachem Alter, author of Pnei Menachem of Gur (during his tenure as the head of Yeshivat Sefat Emet). Jerusalem, 1983.
The letter was sent to the Va'ad HaYeshivot B'Eretz Yisrael and it deals with the establishment of the Gur yeshivah in Haifah, which had to receive a recognized status. The Pnei Menachem attests in this letter that he is personally acquainted with the rosh yeshivah, the gaon Rabbi Yisrael David Rust, the lecturers and the students, and that the yeshivah is "on a very high level."
