Leaf printed on thick, stiff paper - protection from a plague, Heaven forbid. Segulah from the rabbi, the gaon, butzina kaddisha ... Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Ujhely. [Hungary, mid-1880s?] Possibly bibliographically unknown.
Printed at the bottom of the leaf "Yahrtzeit of the above tzaddik ... 28 Tammuz."
"Shemirah" leaves like this were very common all across Hungary. The amulet's author - Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum, founder of the Satmar dynasty, was one of the first Admo"rim who disseminated Chassidic doctrine in Hungary.
