The Hebrew Press in Neuhäusel - Bibliographic Discovery

Sefer Rechovot HaNahar - pleasant commentary on Chamishah Chumshei Torah by Rabbi Ze'ev Wolf Tennenbaum, published by his grandson Mashha"k - Rabbi Moshe Tennenbaum, rabbi of Verpelét. Neuhäusel at Rabbi Shmuel Leuchter's press. 1894. Only one kuntress was printed (the first six pages). This compilation is bibliographically unknown.

Two years later, the entire sefer was printed at a different press in Sighet by the author's grandson, the same publisher as this kuntress. This issue may have been printed as a sample for the book and for the printing press.

The Bibliographiah lists only one other kuntress printed in Neuhäusel - also by this printer - Kovetz Beit Va'ad L'Chachamim IV (and refer to Moshe Rosenfeld, HaDfus HaIvri M'Reishito ad Shnat 1948. Jerusalem, 1992. 1059).

This kuntress also has an advertisement for the printing press in Neuhäusel - a general announcement for publishers, by the printer Shmuel Leuchter, in which he announces the establishment of his press.

The compilation: [3], 6-8 pp. 31 cm.
