Two letters from Shimon Peres to the previous State Comptroller, Miriam Ben-Porat
Two letters written and signed by the deceased President Shimon Peres to the previous Supreme Court Justice and State Comptroller, Miriam Ben-Porat [1918-2012].
* Letter from 38/3/1974. Peres writes warmly: "As you know, your words have special weight for me. I am even more thankful that you have inserted integrity and justice in one of the tangles in our life, a subject that was very controversial from both the economic and social aspects, merited love of justice and efficiency..." The margins of the letter is signed by Peres. [1] letterhead. 17x21 cm. Fold marks. Fine condition.
* Letter written and signed by Peres on 5/9/1994: Peres thanks Miriam Ben-Porat for the wreath of Israeli flowers that she sent to him and his wife and adds Shana Tova greetings. [1] letterhead. 16x21 cm. Very fine condition.
