Baraita D'Melechet HaMishkan; Handwritten Corrections by the Author
Sefer Baraita D'Melechet HaMishkan and Baraita D'Masechet Middot, with commentary by Maran Sar HaTorah, the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky. Bnei Brak, 1961. First edition.
Includes two handwritten corrections by Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky himself.
Maran HaGaon Rabbi Shmaryahu Yosef Chaim Kanievsky (1928-2022) was regarded as the leader of the Torah world and the Lithuanian community in Israel and globally. He was possibly the last leader to unify the entire Torah public.
Each year, he would complete the entire Torah study cycle:
Daily study of eight pages of the Talmud Bavli, along with the parallel sections in the Talmud Yerushalmi.
The Tur and Shulchan Aruch at a pace of about five pages per day.
Renowned for his extraordinary spiritual stature, crowds gathered daily outside his home on Rashbam Street, awaiting a single word from him—"BooH" (Bracha V'Hatzlacha)—which was believed to bring relief to their troubles through the power of Torah.
Condition: Good to very good.
