Toldot Adam VeChava. Approbations by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev and Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin
Toldot Adam VeChava and Sefer Misharim. By Rabbeinu Yerucham ben Meshulam. Kapust, 1808.
The great work of Rabbeinu Yerucham, one of the early Rishonim, including: Toldot Adam, Toldot Chava, and Sefer Misharim.
With the approbation of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin, and others.
It is well known that certain books printed in Russia-Poland contain variations in their approbations. In some copies, the Chassidic approbations appear, while in others, the Litvish approbations are present. Some have speculated that these differences stem from the Chassidic-Mitnagdic controversy.
In this book, both approbations appear together.
