A collection of Chassidic teachings compiled by the grandson of the Maggid of Kozhnitz, including Torah teachings from the Baal Shem Tov, the Maggid of Mezeritch, several of his disciples, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, and his grandfather, the Maggid of Kozhnitz.
On the back of the approbations page: "Glosses on the Kabbalistic Sefer Vayakhel Moshe, " based on a manuscript of the Maggid of Kozhnitz.
First edition of an important Chassidic book, highly cherished by Chassidic leaders, which was later reprinted in several editions.
There are several variants of this book, and in the copy before us, the printer’s name does not appear on the title page.
